Let's Hang out and Celebrate!

Not celebrating fall,because i can't stand this cold rainy weather...But this layout is about celebrating friendship!I love the feeling you get from a girls night(or day!)Just stepping out of the whole mommy routine stuff.Time to breath and enjoy watching chick flicks and such.Perfect time to celebrate with some Desperado's and snacks ;)Almost everything here is Crafty Secrets products.My favorite thing about Crafty Secrets is all these fantastic images.I mean come on...A pin-up butterfly??A girl who burns here clothes ironing,while talking on the phone??(Reminds me of burning my boyfriends carpet back in high school)And all these other Vintage images that i Love so much.So so cool!I used the Let's Hang out set for the cute girl on the phone and the Let's Hang out and Celebrate stamp!On the Creating with Vintage Patterns are a lot of great papers,but i also enjoy using all of these great embellishments like this cute flower.I Love going Hybrid.Love that word too,makes me think of Vampire Diaries!Maybe i am a Vampire and Werewolf in one,lol!
I had lot's of fun with Glimmer Mist and the lovely new stamps here.I used the Artsy Banners set for the garland and the Lacey Patterns set for the background design.
Even though i do not like Fall,i am a sucker for the warm colors.Couldn't help my self of shooting some picture of my pretty boy's.They are getting way too big!!Gotta love the clothes for bigger boy's though.Can't get enough of all these great boots that i see everywhere.A picture of our CRAZY cat's...Smothered together on their new throne.

I'll be back soon with some more things to show.How was everyone's Halloween??We had a blast!Exhausting,but worth it :)

Crafty Secrets Envelope Challenge $25 give-away!

We are having a fun new challenge over at Crafty Secrets.Using this cool video from incredible things,we made gift bags from an envelope.Sandy is giving away atleast 1 $25 Certificate depending on how many people post their bags on Facebook.So ladies,start creating and posting on Facebook.My theme is Adult B-day,and i went for the shabby look using the Crafty Secrets Vintage Patterns CD,Mini Vintage Creative Scraps and the booklet Girlfriends Image & Journal Notes.

I also added some glitter,a pearl and a handmade lace flower.

I used a tutorial from this blog and the best part of it is...no sewing required!

I added some 3-D tape to the gold corners,the crown and the tag to add some depth.On the inside of the bag i used a lace doily to hold the chocolate treats.
I added some sparkle to the tag with some Stickles from Ranger.Don't you just Love glitter??

And a little 3-D crown for the Birthday Queen :)Be sure to check out what the girls have made.Their creativity is amazing and they always blow me away.

Dove of the East Paris Vintage

So this post is all about Dove of the East!When i first discovered this brand i was amazed by the refreshing designs and theme's.Doveen is the founder of Dove of the East,a really sweet and inspiring lady.Check out her blog here Dove of the East Scrapbooking Blog.Being an huge Paris fan,the collection Paris Vintage was my instant favorite.But the other collections are just as special like Russia Journey,India Journey,China Journey,Japan Journey and Shanghai Vintage.Not only are the papers so unique and beautiful,the embellishments are Antique trinkets you want to treasure forever!Believe me,you are not gonna want to use them because they are just too PRETTY!I designed two layouts for Dove of the East using the Paris Vintage collection and it gave my mojo a huge boost.I loved creating these two layouts,the products match so well together that a design was easily created.The titles of the papers are called;Flower Tower,Letters From Paris,Cafe Reverie,Paris I Love You,We'll Always Have Paris,I Was A Free Man In Paris,Twilight In The Tuileries,Cherie,Pastiche,Esprit Du Temps,Amour and Meet Me In Montmartre.Perfect right?
This layout is about missing Paris.I havn't been there in almost 3 years and i wish i could go and have lunch at Laduree.Making a wish under the bridge and take lot's of beautiful pictures.I hope to see Paris again in Spring next year and visit a nice Antique market.Maybe i can finally try out some of those fabulous Macaroons i keep hearing about!I used a lot of 3-D tape and experimented with the stitching settings.Don't you just love the vibrant color of these roses,they are so romantic.Got me thinking about Valentines!First i cut out the corners,then i taped some paper to the back and layered the corners with 3-D tape to let them stand out.I love the effect it has on the layout,it really makes a difference!I added stitching to the photo and card on the background.This way it looks like i added these myself :) Aren't these papers just gorgeous??These stamps are actually from the Russia Journey,but they were so pretty i just had to use it on my layout.I used the one in the top right corner as a border.This picture was taken by the Carrousel at Montmartre,so i just had to use it with the "Meet me in Montmartre"paper.I had to cut it out and use it as a title in the left corner.The colors matched the picture so well,it made me Happy!The kraft envelope,the stitching,the turquoise embellishment and rose ribbon all just gave the layout a warm and vintage feeling.Ticket and money were cut out of the paper and used as embellishments together with the Vintage Paris metal suitcase.I crunched the paper embellishments a bit and added distress ink to add more of a vintage touch.These chipboards come in a Organza pouch and are called Bags of Chips,fun!I used the Europe Journey Foreign Accents and this is what the website say's;Classic, opulent and elegant, Europe Journey travels back in time to Imperial Europe when empires were ruled by Kings and Tzars, Queens and Tzarinas. From the mystical forests to the grand palaces, our chipboard stickers let you create the magic of Imperial Europe with your own imagination.

New Somerset Memories+Sneaks!

Toot toot toooooooot,this lady has some work published in the new Somerset Memories.The magazine was looking amazing as always,i love being a part of it!I have been sick for weeks now,getting a bit better and then sick again.It's driving me crazy!But i have created some stuff,and here are some sneaks of a project i have been working on.We are already in the Halloween mood here,and our home is all themed up.Here are some peeks,but i will make some more pictures soon.Don't you just hate this rainy Autumn weather?I know i do!Especially when i want to take some pictures...My little big boy,who can't give me a normal smile for my pictures anymore LOL :)

Do you think you can put a little bit more Lycra in this top for the twins? :) Seriously small,feels like a girls top...I do like the pin-up print though!I ordered the top from their website.Maybe a good reason to start a diet? I think this Summer is officially the worst Summer EVER!No sunny day's what so ever,so sad since the kids already start school in 2 weeks.We want to go to the Efteling themepark but i am not going to spend the day in a rainy park.Let's hope we still get some good weather before school starts.

Here is a quick layout i made about my EVER GROWING nail polish collection.I took this picture some time ago and my collection has many additions already!What can i say?I LOVE nailpolish,especially in the summer on my toe nails :) Girly girl! We went to the fun fair here in Tilburg,which is the biggest fair of Europe.We go every year and the kids alway's have a blast!I think we will go again on Sunday,the last day.

I celebrated my 25th bday last Sunday and it sure was a good one!I got rotten spoiled and had family over for dinner and some Michael Jackson WII dancing. LOL

My brother and i went to see Hangover 2,which was such a funny movie!But before went to see the movie,we did some shopping and drinks.Horrible phone picture by my brother :)

Hmmm what else??Have you seen the movie Gnomeo and Juliet??It is so adorable and funny,my boy's want to see it everyday...And since we are having rain here,they probably are!

And what do you do when it's raining and your bored??Right!You go shopping :) It's SALE everywhere and i Love it!Just bought a pair of cool boots at New Look for 4 euro's($5,75)can you believe that??Must make some pictures of my shopping and b-day presents.

Crafty Secrets NEW product show offs+Give Away!!

I am a bit late with this post because i got kidnapped for my birthday.But go on and check out the Crafty Secrets blog quickly because there is a new challenge going on and it's all about showing off the new products!And let me tell you that they are amazing!!I can't praise the new CD Creating with Vintage Patterns enough,and i made two layout's showing some of the amazing papers and embellishments.Wan't a chance to win the CD or the Creative Scraps i used for my layout's??Just follow my blog,then leave a comment and i will pick a winner this Sunday!This layout "Let them eat Cake" is totally inspired by the little Marie Antoinette from the new mini-vintage Creative Scraps.I also used the other side as paper for my layout.It was almost a shame to tear it up!I also cut out some embellishments for my layout like the butterfly's and the clock.The papers i printed were distressed and applied with gel medium.Then i covered it with some paint and stamped on it with gesso to get a worn look.I used the Artsy Banner stamps for that.The frames behind the photo,the locket,photo corners and journaling note are all printed from the CD Creating with Vintage patterns.

The picture is taken by my friend Anita mundt.This layout is about my favorite Antique's,some found in Lille,France!Like my beloved lady print that we call Lille.(Simply because we found her on the Antique market in Lille...)

I printed the rose paper from the CD and sewn it to the cardstock.Then i used the Artsy Banners stamp set to stamp on the background.I also used the set to stamp a postage stamp to the right top.Using the Frame It stamp set i created some journaling lines in the left corner.I punched a lace border from the paper i printed and added it to bottom.I used a pearl pen to create pearls in the little holes.The roses,eiffeltower,clock and beautiful frame are all on the CD!!

Hey everyone!We are having a fun challenge at the Crafty Secrets blog with a Childhood theme. I played along and created this layout using the amazing new CD Creating with Vintage Paterns from Crafty Secrets.It's full of amazing papers and embellishments for you digi and hybrid scrapbookers.Since i don't make digi pages,i printed the papers and embellishments.I love all the little embellishments like the hinges,clock and the photo corner.

Atleast,that's what they think... :) I made this layout for the Skissedilla challenge by Tara Anderson.Love her colorful retro style!Pictures were made earlier this year at the playground in front of our house.I love working with Primary colors for Boy's layouts.Too bad there aren't many Cool lines for Boy's.They are all so childish...I am alway's on the look out for cool Boy stuff,so any product ideas are more then welcome!

The Amazing Spiderman

I told you i was going to show you something different... :) My oldest,wearing his all time favorite Spiderman hoody.He would wear this one everyday if i would let him.The Hambly background paper has been in my stash for years.I have been saving it for that special layout.Probably a Sex and the City layout when i was New York...But since that will not be happening anytime soon,i thought i would just use it for this.I think it turned out kinda cool!The Spiderman embellishments are from EK succes.And can you believe i used eyelets??I havn't used those for suchhhh a long time.I can't even remember when!

First day of summer...And i have a Spring layout to show you :) Can't wait for the real summer to begin,we have had nothing but rain the last couple of day's.But then again,when it get's hot we are complaining that it's too hot.Because it is,there is no inbetween here!

I made a layout using a picture made by Anita Mundt.It is my favorite picture,and the colors fit this paper perfectly.I used little bits and pieces mostly from K&Company.It felt so so so good creating again.I have been busy with asignments so i had no Me time for a while.But i have some spare time now,any good challenges or something i need to look into?

Changes

Yes,there are gonna be some changes over here!I love blogging,i really do...It doesn't look like it,i know but i can tell you i really do.For a long time this blog was mainly about scrapbooking.But since this blog is named Today's Mommy and it's about me,why not share all my other stuff here?(You know like anyone else does...)Like for an example,i love shopping.Especially thrifting...But somehow i don't share much about it on my blog.Why not??So i decided to start making some changes and pick up the blogging again.Big time now,since i miss it!Maybe i even switch over to typepad?Not sure about that though...

This weekend we had a big fleamarket in the city here,called the May market.My favorite event here in Tilburg,The Netherlands.It's huge and starts around 08.00PM on Saturday and ends on 05.00PM the next day.We alway's have so many fun finds.I will make some pictures tomorrow and share them with you.

But for now i would love to share with you my new bracelet.There is a story behind it...I googled something about fashion and stumbled upon a photoshoot of 2 famous models.Then i googled the photoshoot and found a blog from girl who is crazy about fashion.She had a random post of inspiration,including a picture of a girl wearing the most beautiful bracelet.I love fashion,i really do but i don't often feel like i need to have something.I just admire it,and think wow that is so cool and that's about it.But THIS bracelet,triggered something inside me.So i wanted to know who the girl in the picture was and where i could buy that beautiful bracelet.I emailed the girl and asked her.So after she linked me to the girl's blog and the post about her outfit wearing the bracelet,i found out where i could buy the bracelet.It's from Bimba and Lola,a Spanish designer store and they have the most amazing stuff!Unfortunately the bracelet could only be paid for with a credit card,which i don't have.So i went looking online searching for a store that i could buy the bracelet using Paypal.NOTHING!Nowhere...So i went looking on Ebay,i looked in England,America,Spain,Holland,Germany and eventually France.And there it was!No jewellery what so every from Bimba and Lola,ONLY my most wanted Starfish Bracelet.It felt like it was meant to be...Can't wait to recieve it!!

I also went Nailpolish shopping,since there was this deal at the drugstore here.But 1 and get 1 for free!And since the lovely colors from Essence are only around 1,30/1,70 and the colors from Catrice and NYC were around 2,50/2,99,i had to buy a few colors.Just a few... :) I will share soon.

He know's it,i know it...my family know's it!I simply can't resist that face. :)

So we are moved,finally!Horrible,i can tell ya.I hope i never ever ever have to move AGAIN!Because,i simply have too much stuff haha

I have done some assignments,here are some sneaks.Worst sneaks ever,i know but i forgot so these are last minute sneaks... :)

I am in the middle of moving house...Which is a BIG deal when you have as much stuff as i do!! :)

Can't wait to just sit down and scrapbook in my new "corner".No more scrapbook room for me,as the kids are getting their own rooms.Guess my corner will be in the livingroom,somewhere...

Ofcourse when you are in the middle of moving you feel like doing anything but packing...So i decided to scrapbook and send my work in for the Pencil Lines DT call.I love all the inspiration from that place!I also love their sketches and love to play along with them.So,keeping my fingers crossed here...

Scrapidées and Page Maps.

I played with a sketch from Scrapidées.A french sketch blog with great inspiration.My new found friend Zyan inspired me to play along.Her work is so lovely!The journaling is behind the foto on a tag.I used spray ink and Blonde Moments paint.Gotta get me some more of those!I used a sketch from Page Maps for my HOERA layout.This was a fun one too!As you can see completely different then the "books" layout,but i like these colors for boy's.A layout about my favorite things to do.Love this paper btw,great colors!Lot's of "saved" tags here from clothes,places and the cinema. :)I'm going to do some Scrapbook shopping this weekend with my friend Marianne and her mom,yay!I hope they will have some new lines from CHA...

Here are some pictures of my mom's Mad Hatter party.We had such a great time!And the food we all prepared for the party was yummy.I love this theme btw..Will do it again one day!Cookies by koekiekoekie. I have been looking at the new stuff from CHA,and i have seen several must have lines.But i found some stuff today that i didn't see before.It's amazing!!!!

Love birds

I made this layout using the sausandesigns Valentine kit.I love the cute Love birds patterned paper.It inspired me for the title :) Everything besides the flower,the tag and the chipboard circle is from sausandesigns.She has some amazing stuff,you should definately check it out.The aqua paper from the Paris kit is my absolute favorite.And those stamps are sooo cool!!I will use these a.s.a.p. again.Julian went to cooking class and got his certificate today.He is so proud!
We have had a very scary day yesterday.Maxim has had a Febrile Seizure.Something i wasn't familiar with,but it has been the most scary thing in the world.He had a fever and all of a sudden he stopped breathing and turned blue.I thought he was going to die,and i am still really shocked and scared.I called an ambulance and they checken him.He is doing great,and acts like nothing happened.Thank god!I think i'm the one who is traumatised,not him.Really hope this will NEVER happen again.

I got up at 8AM this morning and have been creating all day,yay!My retro kid Maxim,the Sassafras colors from this line are perfect for his pictures.
And last but not least,my favorite new layout.Unfortunately i can't show it jet,but i just had to show some sneak peeks!It felt so good playing with paint and distressing again,it has been a while... :)

Sigh...This layout makes me think of Paris...J'adore Paris...

My first layout called Priceless,is about my two boy's.I took this picture on our vacation in Belgium last summer.They were laughing and when i told them to look my way,this was what i got.Julian looks like he want's to start crying and Maxim looks like...It wasn't me!Both are clowns,that's for sure!This pictures makes me laugh,everytime i see it.

I have several things that i am going to show today,just fun stuff happening at the moment.Like my gorgeous boy who looks like...well a scarecrow obviously haha He will be six in May and he is already missing lot's of teeth.No pretty school pictures this year!I think it's kinda funny looking though...Luckily it's just a fase LOL My random collection of books!Like the bright colors mixed with the vintage pale colors.I think i have the most random collection of books a person can have.Interior,cupcakes,fairies,art,diet,chick flicks and more.Love it! A gift i bought for myself some time ago.People who know me,know i just adore fairies.I also like pin-ups and i have a thing for make-up...(I know,i know,i like lot's of things!!)This make up set from Too Faced has all of these favorite things in one,and it was definately a Must Have!My new layout called Tradition.Ihave been creating some other layout's but i can't show them jet.I made this layout using a sketch on the Dutch Dares blog.I've been wanting to play along and now i finally did!
I am also looking for a new Scrapbooking tote.I have a big roller tote in pale pink,but it became dirty.Now i spotted this one from AMM,and i Love it.I think this is going to be the one,if my LSS can find it.I am hoping they can find a brown/pink one because i have a brown/pink tool caddy from AMM.I like them to match!I also like the shoulder bag,so i hope they can find that one too.I am still open for suggestions on other scrapbooking roller bags or totes,so any ideas are more then welcome!!! :)I found some cool presents for my pregnant friend,i will have to make some pictures.Wish i could keep it myself haha I was sorting out my baby stuff last week and it makes me wan't to have ten more babies.Sigh...Probably not a good idea,back to reality!!! :)

Who knew it was SO EASY??

(I need to stop looking suprised on pictures,one day that wrinkle is going to stay FOREVER!)While browsing mags and watching celebs on tv,i spotted a braid that looked so good!!But...It looked really complicated and i was like yeah...well...maybe one day when i get my hair done.I found out it's called a fishtail braid,and after seeying some youtube clips i gave it a try.It looked doable in the clips...

(What,i did it??OWMY i can do it!!!)

It's not just doable,it's SO easy!You only use 2 strands and the result is sooo nice.Go and try it!!We Dutchies are used to braiding our hair in the french style,but i must say that this is definately a new favorite for me!

Okay moving on...While i was making pictures,i wanted to take pictures of some of my favorite Antique finds.Just a few,i will make some more soon.I have lot's since i am such a HUGE thrift lover.

My print that i bought 2 years ago.It's my favorite item by far!There is kind of a funny story behind it.I was thrifting with my mom and her husband.I saw the print,and thought WOW.It had no frame jet,but it looked way expensive so i kept walking slowly.Still thinking ow my WOW.Then Jack came up to me,and asked me did you see that one?(Uhuh,my people know what i like...LOL)Said yeah,so pretty...So then my mom came to us,and asked what we were talking about.So we explained to her and she said,well show me.So we went back and she asked how much it was.The guy said to her,5 euro's.I wanted to SCREAM!!!!Eventhough it was such a pain carrying it around all day(not to meantion removing the nails in the park),it couldn't have made my day any better.

Lesson learned,never be scared to ask!!!

My pretty pretty pretty porcelain we bought last year.I didn't photograph the cup and saucers,but i have twelve!I wanted to buy the set for my mom,but she wanted to buy it for me because i loved it so much.It was expensive so we weren't going to buy it because of the broken sugar bowl.But it was just too pretty to leave it there.It looks like it could have been made for Marie Antoinette herself!

This was the first thing i bought on a market in France last year.So cute and definately worth 6 euro's.It's already been used for a High tea :) This is something my mother gave me for my bday.It can be used as a parfume spray,isn't it adorable?Will look so cute on my dresser.Some plates i bought last year.Love the yellow!When i see these i never wan't to use plastic plates again.But then again...When you live with 2 boy's,which are 5 and 3,that might not be such a good idea.They're not completely chip free,but it's very minor and it gives a great touch if you ask me.Worth the 1 euro a plate!Some more plates,pink with pastel flowers.Sigh...This is a very old piece of fabric.I think it used to be a curtain...It's not new and has a few ripps and stains,but i think i can make some fun pillows out of these.I couldn't just leave it for that 1 euro.

So i spotted this garment bag a while ago when H&M launched their LANVIN collection.Ofcourse i'm not going to spend so much money on a dress,so no garment bag for me.(You only recieved them with clothes.)But when i spotted this new Lanvin garment bag online for only 3 euro's,i just HAD TO buy it.It's so cute,don't you think?It looks very Parisian,and i LOVE that!!
Give me some Ooh la la,poodles and Black/Pink combo and i need it... :) Wish i was brave enough to wear it like a dress,like the model...

So i keep reading about this One Little Word everybody is choosing for the new year.

Great idea!I am not a new years resolution person,but i do have a specific goal this year.I hope to volunteer this year,making people a bit happier and less lonely.I was shocked to hear how many people are really lonely.Ofcourse i also have my "lonely" moments,but then i think of the people who really have nobody to turn to.That's my goal for this year!I hope i make the best of it...What's your goal??

I am addicted to this movie...I know it's not a new movie,but it took me forever to see it.I LOVED it when i saw it end last year,and i was very happy that i got it from Santa last Christmas.Now i watch it several times a week,which is pretty pathetic.I am totally aware...And yes i have a hundred other things to do!Such a pretty Soundtrack,sigh...

Watched this movie tonight,and it's so cute!If you havn't seen it,go check it out.I love these kind of romantic movies.
I am pretty sure this movie is the new favorite of my boy's.Such a fantastic Disney movie,i LOVE it too!Go go go and see it for yourself!

Sigh!I have to admit i am one of those weather complainers...Too hot,too cold,too icey...I am aware of that.But i really,and i mean REALLY can't stand the rain.It sucks,it's depressing and it gives me a headache.So when it rains outside,i decide it is a good day to just stay in :) Which is a good thing because it means SCRAPBOOKING!Yay,it felt good...I should do it more often,right??lol

Okay so it has been a while since i did some "personal" scrapbooking,just for me.I used to love playing with challenges and i really miss it sometimes.I decided to play along with the Pencil Lines July challenge.This is my result!I like how this style looks with my paparazzi pictures from my boyfriend.Love stalking people :)This is the sketch i used.I also did a Shabby article for the upcoming CMF,using everything Prima.(Sigh,how i LOVE Prima)Here are some sneaks.Sorry for the horrible look of these,i had to cut sneaks from my layout pictures.Since my mother's High Tea party i am totally into collecting my own High Tea stuff.I already had some etagieres and stuff,but i wan't MOREEEE.I also want some different china/porcelin plates and and and and :)

Most wonderful high tea b-day ever!

My mom really outdid herself again.She organized the most wonderful high tea b-day ever!It was totally Marie antoinette inspired and i loved loved loved every single detail.Like the shoe made of chocolate.And the beautiful cake which had the PERFECT color grey/blue.My mom had been busy for months and you could tell.Glad everyone had a great time. The next day (after the mail man came and my mom had to pay tax for something...)she told me she had another suprise.Something she started organizing back in February...She bought the most beautiful Marie Antoinette dress by Show Belles Costumes and Clothes.It is completely handmade for me and fits perfectly.It really is a dream come true for me,because i have alway's wanted a dress like this.I seriously can't wait to do a photoshoot with it!Besides the beautiful dress,my mom also got me the Marie Antoinette panniers.Sooo cool!And don't forget the perfectly matching necklace,earrings and shoe's.We had to watch Marie-Antoinette that afternoon drinking champagne,fun!After that we did my hair and put on the dress to show Jack and my dad.They loved it!Still can't believe it...Pffff mom youre the very best!Love you xoxoMy brother and his girlfriend got me this cute dress/top.I picked it out myself :)

It just screams Paris,i so need to wear it when i am going to Laduree's with my mom!

Yes...it was me again.I havn't blogged in a million years.Atleast that's how it feels!First of all i hurt my wrist,so i had to take some rest.Then i was so busy with deadlines and kids,that i had no energy left for anything else.Ow,and let'snot forget my little home make over.Fun!

Sausan Designs and Pencil Lines

So i have been scrapbooking like crazy lately.I don't know what it is,maybe it's the weather?

Yeah,we have had sun the last couple of day's!Still cold though,and i have seen snow and ice...But still when i get up and i see the sun,i just feel so HAPPY.Can't wait for Spring and Summer,and not to forget Easter!

I came across this picture of Julian and me where he is only 1 day old.He was the most beautiful baby(to me...) and i was seriously on cloud 9.Can't believe it's almost 5 years back that i gave birth to my first child...I feel old,lol!!

The picture really matched the colors of the new Sausan Design paper,so i just had to scrap this picture with the cute Love Generation Love paper.I also used the fantastic stamps,retro frames and bubbly borders.The frames and borders already look like they are stitched but i wanted to add some " real" stitching too.Those frames are fantastic btw,i think you will see them on many more of my projects.

I decided to use the sketch 177 from the Pencil Lines blog this week.They all went for the romantic style so i wanted to make something " cool" .I distressed the paper with Gesso,blue ink,distress ink and walnut ink(spray).I stamped for the first time in months,fun!And recently i like to burn stuff.My paper and embellishments giving them and old/grunge look.Please be careful not to set your house on fire,like i almost did.I have some big black stains on my Orange carpet now... :)I also have some sneaks to show.I actually made my very first Christmas layout a few day's ago.Don't know why,but i never liked making Christmas layouts...Which is strange because i LOVE Christmas.I think the papers are too...busy and Christmasy.lol I guess that's why i only used Christmas cut outs and no Christmas paper for this layout.And my new favorite layout...Only a sneak,but sigh...I REALLY love how this one turned out.So whimsical...I did some thrift shopping today.Nothing much but i will show you my finds tomorrow.Including this very cute umbrella for only 50 cent!This weekend i am going to the first carboot sale of the year,yay!

Unfortunately my laptop is not working at the moment so i guess i have to spend my money on fixing that,boehoeee. :(

I have been so busy creating these last few day's/week's and it feels GOOD!Don't know why,but from time to time i alway's seem to lost my mojo.Hate it when that happens but it sure makes you feel really good when you find it back again.

So what have i been up to...Well Carnaval at school,means dressing up and play along with the kids.So happy there is no picture of me dressed up as "Heidï".I was wearing a dress with corset and everything!Couldn't breath all day while playing and dancing with the kids.lol

I also locked myself in my own house...
Tried to unlock the door and while pulling the key i did something.Not sure what?But atleast it was not good,because i could not open it anymore and i couldn't get my key out anymore.So i had to call and ask if they could send somebody that could fix my lock.That person had to climb through the window(in the messiest room!!With all of my Scrapbooking stuff laying around too...),and try not to break his neck.Luckily he did fix my lock and i could go outside again and fix me something to eat,ha!

Watched some movies.It's complicated;Ow my,such a fantastic movie.If you haven't seen it jet,go watch it NOW!Seriously,i have already seen it several times now because it is so great!I watched Couples Retreat.Started out funny but got boring,so a no no if you ask me.I also watched Dorian Gray.Beautiful movie,but a bit scary and dark.Not too much,because i watched it untill the end and that counts for something,believe me!I also watched The Hangover,way more fun then i expected!I am not into the whole "boy's coming too late on a wedding" movies,but this was actually a very cool one.NOT as cool as one of my new favorite movies called "I love you man".Seriously,such a FUNNY movie!!!Havn't seen it?Go watch it!!

Not sure what else...But if i think about it later,i will sure tell you about it in my next post! :)

I got featured on the Sassafras Lass blog the other day.They showed two Sassafras layout's from me using Julian's pictures.I have to say that they matched the papers very well.Go check out that post,they shared lot's and lot's of fantastic projects!

I made it on the ScrapinStyletv.com Catwalk this week,with my layout Antiques i made for BlueMoon Scrapbooking.Very honored!Funniest part is,my dad told me i made it on the Catwalk!!He is even more up to date then me.lol It had been a while since i've been on SIStv,but the comeback feels good.Maybe it's time for that crop again??

Okay so my mom and best friend totally pulled me into the Vampire hype that's going on at the moment.First it was Mari who keep telling me how great Twilight was,and that she read the books several times and waited in front of the Virgin store to buy the first Twilight dvd. :)

Since i am really stubborn i waited a while before i watched Twilight.(It took me 4 years or more to finally watch the first Harry Potter!!)But when i finally watched the movie,i completely fell in Love with it.I am now listening to the last audio book,and it's great.I am not much of a reader,so i was glad my mom kept pushing me about listening to the audio books!

My mom started to watch TrueBlood and Vampire Diaries a few weeks ago.I don't think TrueBlood is something for me.(The accent is kinda bugging me,ssssht!)But i am sooo addicted to Vampire Diaries at the moment.First it was kinda freaking me out because it's a lot scarier then Twilight.But now that i have seen the first 13 episodes,i sooo wan't/NEED to see more.

So it's Grey's and Vampire Diaries at the moment.What are you watching??

Okay so the new kit @ BlueMoon scrapbooking is up.And Friday is my turn to show some eyecandy :)

This is the first layout i made...Told you i was gonna scrap this picture!!I wanted the small pictures to look like grapes,fun huh? I attached them with little rings.I believe they are for jewellery making?They are very light,so perfect for on a layout.Thinking about adding some stitching.But for i can do that,i still have to clean out my scraproom.(HUGE MESS!!)

I already gave 2 big bags to Julian's school,and they were happy.I also have 2 sneakies for you...But the layouts you can see on the BlueMoon blog next Friday!

Okay...i am officialy tired of the bad weather now.I wanna wear NORMAL shoe's again!The snow had been gone for like 2-3 day's and all of a sudden it was back again.I was sooo grumpy that day.lol

Since i can't take pictures of my work,i decided to play with some pictures of mine.I used an overlay from Sausan Designs.I have to admit that i had no clue how to use these things in Photoshop.But now that i do know,i am really enjoying it.The overlay's from Sausan Designs are perfect if you want to create a more shabby/old look.(She also has really cool overlay's for boy's to create a grunge kind of look.)

The longer i stare at pictures,the more flaws i see.Am i the only one with this habbit or shall we say problem?Oh well...Which one do you like best?Or maybe none...You can tell me,i can take it.I think...lol

So i decided to make a picture from my eyeshadow color and show it to my girl Celine.She posted a message on her blog about her new fabulous color eyeshadow!I don't wear eyeshadow that often since i am more of a "natural" make up kinda girl,but i do like it.I just never buy,and wear it.Maybe i should change that??ANYWAY,i put some eyeshadow on one eye and made a picture to show.Like the color?It's a heavy color,for party's or maybe the runway?? LOL

I used ARTIST cream eye shadow color Dali 050 from P2.Since it's liquid it kinda looks like a lipgloss. :D
So after that i had to go and do some groceries.People were staring a bit strange at me,but i live in a pretty weird neighbourhood so i am used to it.So i continued doing my groceries and went to the cash register.All of a sudden the girl behind the counter(I do groceries several times a day,so they know me...) asked me why i was only wearing eyeshadow on one eye?

OW MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How embaressing is that???

Yeah,so this is a warning for all of you!!If you decide to make a picture for someone wearing something crazy,make sure you remove it BEFORE you leave the house.LOL

While i was making pictures from my eyeshadow,i made this picture where you can see me holding the camera in my eye.I thought it was freaking cool!!So gonna scrap this one.

I started on Saturday sorting out boxes with stuff.You know,Christmas stuff,old baby stuff and just random crap.I put the Scrapbook boxes aside and sort out all the other stuff and put the boxes back.But somehow in that process,a lot of loose random stuff was spreaded in the house.I guess that when i put it there i was thinking something like "I need to find a place for that,later".Only the later never came,because i still needed to sort out my Scrapbooking stuff.I decided to dedicate my Sunday to my Scrapbooking stuff.I'm not even close to finished...So now i not only have a huge mess in my Scrapbook/mess room,my complete house looks like there is a bomb exploded.Butttt they say you first have to make a mess to get it tight.So i am counting on that!Though i don't feel like sorting out anymore...That can be a problem LOL
I sorted out all my stickers and stuff,and i have to say...SICK,REALLY SICK!!No more buying stickers for me that is.(Beside thickers,but they are not really stickers right???!!!) ;)

So my friend Mandy showed a layout on her blog that was inspired by Celine's inspiration Tuesday.I was really inspired by it!So i threw my scrap crap aside and started scrapbooking.That's what i like best...Feeling inspired and just create,no matter the crap you're in!! :) Made this quickythe other day,i LOVEEEEEEEEEE the Mommy&Me line from Prima!!
Did you see the new sneaks on the Prima Marketing blog??I wan't it all!!I love the shabby soft but also the bright happy umbrella stuff.Hooray for new stuff,so inspiring!

Time to show 2 layouts i made for Blue Moon Scrapbooking.

First one is about my Love for Twilight.The people who have seen the movies or read the books,know that the vampires sparkle in the sun.That inspired me to use the crystals from the alphabet as sparkles.I cut pieces from the Pink Paislee boarderlines to add some color to the layout.Second one is my very first Valentine layout EVER. :) I never really celebrated Valentines and never had the right pictures,so this was fun!On the picture is my brother with girlfriend,hope they like it.Guess it's time to make some Valentine pictures myself...

Didn't do anything this week,it has been a terrible one.Kids were sick,i was sick...Guess snow is NOT our thing!Luckily it's melting and hopefully it will be completely gone next week.Our toilet wouldn't flush.Maxim broke Julian his Nintendo DS,and the list continue's.I did make some pictures from Maxim today,we had fun.

So i played with the Hugs and Kisses kit from Blue Moon Scrapbooking,and here is the layout i made.It's been a while since i played with a kit,but i have to say that this kit really inspired me.I also have two sneaks to show.As you know,i never make sneaks...But it looks kinda cool like this right?? :D

So who celebrate's Valentine???I have never been a huge fan of Valentine,but i alway's have to do SOMETHING.Hmmm maybe breakfast with everything heart shaped??Not really refreshing,but who cares lol

My "little" toddler started pre-school last week.WOW it's all going way too fast!Luckily he still acts like my little baby.He really enjoy's being the "baby",so that's kinda funny.I better enjoy it now i still can...

And last but certainly not least,i wanted to show you this cake my mom made.My Mari gave her a book about cakes,and it inspired my mom to make this for someone at work.Cute cute cute!

So since it's still snowing outside(Ulgh!!),i spent my time watching movies,listening audio books and scrapbook.What are you doing??

I watched movies and scrapbooked this weekend at Martine,that was fun!Loved watching Mr& Mrs.Smith.Brat is SO HOT!Well,so is Angelina... :D

Okay once again,my big plan was to keep my bloggin up for atleast 3 times a week...And yeah once again,i failed.LOL I blame the holiday's and stuff,so i am going to try again from now on.(Don't kill me if it doesn't work out!!)My boy's are taking all my spare time now a day's.But my youngest started pre-school last Monday,so i am hoping to spend some more quality me time.

Okay so i guess my suprise TOOT'S are a bit late...lol And probably not a suprise anymore,but oh well!First i wan't to tell you about the new paper collection from Sausan Designs.It is AMAZING!!Beautiful colors and fun designs,see for yourself.

Love Generation

I played and made this layout.It's called "Special Made",and it's about the picture i made for my boyfriend when he was away on vacation.Just to showcase how i looked that day,lol!! I loved using Sylvie's cool stamps too,look at that lettertype...

Okay time to show some more!Here are two layouts i made for Sausan Designs.I printed a lot of her digital stuff and used it on my page,love hybrid!Who would have thought that...I didn't!

I also made some layouts using some Sassafras Lass stuff,love me some color!Picture from Martine and me is made by Anita Mundt on our shoot last "summer".

Already scrapped this picture,but i had to use it again...It's one of my faves :)

Last Friday,Martine and i went to see New Moon.(again...)It was a first for her,so that was fun!Although i did get kinda annoyed by the people who chatted,kicking my seat and eat(think chips bags)during the movie.Can't wait for the dvd to come out :)

How the world hates Bella...

Last weekend my mom and me went to see the movie New Moon.I had seen the movie Twilight many times,and my mom have listened to all the audio books.So we have been waiting for New Moon for months now,and the moment was finally here!We were standing in line with a hundred 15yr old girls...It was taking longer because we had to wait untill everything was clean.The movie was just as great as i expected,maybe even better!!The coolest moment was when Jacob took of his shirt and all girls started Oewwww and talking.My mom and i had to laugh so hard!Ofcourse everyone is totally jealous of Bella,because she got these two beautiful guy's fighting for her.Although i must say that i wouldn't be to happy with Vampires chasing me...I know i have to go and see this movie again,hopefully with my girl Mari... :)I made this Shabby layout for SausanDesigns.Besides the music paper,all of the papers are from SausanDesigns.As well are the cute flowers,love them!Here are the names:

Yes,the summer vacation is OVER!Time for school and routine again...Not so happy about the "get up early" thing,but it will be better for my lazyness.

Vacation was fun,but sjeeeeeeez my boy's were so HYPER!!Even when i went outside with them,playing on the playground for hours...But what do you expect when you have 2 pirates?

Besides "just chillin" this vacation,i totally took over my mom's baking hype.Ofcourse cupcakes are my fave,just because they are so yummy!Here are the chocolate cocos ones that were delicious.Atleast my brother and neighbours thought so.I have to say that scones are high on the fave list too.Ofcourse you need to serve it with some Clotted Cream and Jelly.Although Julian thinks i could just skip the Clotted Cream and just serve it with Jelly. ;)
On request for my neighbour i also made a Chocolate Strawberry cake.It was my firs cake and ofcourse i didn't use a recipe or anything.Why?Well simply because i am really stubborn.Haha Next time i have to add some cream to the chocolate so it won't break when you cut the cake.Lesson learned...But looking at it in the end,i must say that i think it looks pretty cool for a first cake.Especially for someone who couldn't bake ANYTHING!

For the pathetic Cooks like me,i have to recommend recipes from this lovely lady.Nigella Lawson makes cooking fun and sexy!Her cooking program is so much fun to watch and her recipes are not complicated at all.Especially if you like quick cooking,she is the one for you!My mom found this cool Sushi cake on google the other day.At first i thought the idea was kinda growse...But when you get rid of the idea from the combination of real cake and Sushi together,i must admit that this idea is way cool.
My brother came to visit me for a few day's which was really fun!We played games,did water fights with the kids,ate a lot!! and more crazy stuff.I also squeezed in this layout.When school starts a finally have some more time to scrapbook more,yay!For this layout is used SausanDesigns paper and hybrid stuff.Her stuff is awesome,if you havn't seen it be sure to check it out!
This project by Jeongmee Yoon is awesome if you ask me.She did one for boy's and one for girls.

It's late and i am tired,so this is going to be a quick update.

First i wanna show you the beautiful cake my mom made for Mari.(My best friend)

As you can see it's a quilted Chanel clutch.Unfortunately i just realised that i broke the pink seem when i unwrapped the cake.Sorry mom,please don't hate me.She IS gonna hate me when i tell her that i forgot to make photo's from the cupcake's she made before we ate them.Well atleast it shows that we thought it was really yummy!!(Back me up here people!!)

I also wanna show you this cute couple.This is Julian's new friend,and i think they look so cute together!She lives next to us,they are the same age,so that makes her the perfect playmate.

Well it isn't her B-day jet,but we celebrated her B-day at my place today.We had a great day,with lot's of cakes and presents.Unfortunately she couldn't come on my B-day so we were sort of celebrating it together today.Girly it was so nice catching up and gossip about everything,missed you like crazy!Here are some of the pictures from today.Don't mind my attitude look,i guess i don't know how to look normal on pictures anymore ha!People who don't know me must think i am a huge B*itch!Believe me,i am not :)

Felt like playing this morning.Time for 2 of my favorite colors,Pink and Black.This layout is about those day's when you feel fabulous,wearing your favorite dress and heels...You know,walking with your head up high...All the men looking at you like your their favorite candy...LOL
There is a person that knows exactly how to make a woman feel good about herself.Just as she is!!!A hero in my eyes...Ofcourse i am talking about Gok Wan from How To Look Good Naked.What a fantastic show!My mom totally got me hooked.He also got a "new" show called Gok's Fashion Fix.

Ofcourse i couldn't help myself making some more cupcakes...I tend to make flower cupcakes,but they didn't turn out that nice.Too bad,better luck next time!My mom also came by to drop off Mari's b-day cake.WOW WOW WOW,that's all i can say!The cake looks absolutely fantastic.Will show it a.s.a.p. She also brought A LOT of cupcakes and strawberry's covered in white chocolate.Need to go on a diet soon...

Wanted to show you this picture.The other day i had this HUGE wasp in my home.It doesn't look so big on the picture,but believe me.It was huge and way scary!I needed to catch it and throw it out of the window.Not the coolest thing to do,but i succeeded ha!We are spending most of our time on the playground,especially when the weather is nice.If the weather is bad we are inside drawing,playing with clay and watching movies.The routine is out and my kids are often freaking me out by running in the house.Love my kids,but sjeez i miss school haha That's about it...I'll be back soon!Happy scrapping :)

New scrappage!

Yes,i've got stuff to show!Woohooooooooo

First of all,my layout for the new challenge over at The Story Matters.It's about your 10 favorite things.Not a lot of journaling though...Try to work on that with the next challenge!Picture is by Martine Rijnbeek :)Then i made this Retro wall hanger.Which was the coolest thing i've made in a while.Not so much the result,but it just felt GOOD.You know...Don't think,just do!?Picture is by Anita Mundt.And last but not least.This simple layout i made about my Maxim.Title say's:Look Mommy,No Hands.And the journaling say's:What do you mean may not,can not?A lot is possible,if you allow yourself.

It felt good to scrapbook again.I wasn't really inspired lately,and all of a sudden i felt like scrapbooking again.I was very happy about that!Hope to create some more today or tomorrow.

I also made some more cupcakes.My favorite are still the pink ones with strawberry filling and white chocolate topping,but you have to variate sometimes right?So i made banana cupcakes with a Milk chocolate topping and banana on top.And i have to say they were really nice,and refreshing.My best friend Marianne arrived in Holland today,all the way from Dubai :) Good to have you back girly!She is going to be my cupcake taster,and i am going to stuff her this whole vacation!

By the way,can i introduce you to Beth Ditto!!This girl is crazy but oh so fabulous.She is a proud big woman,and let's thank her for that.Not that i think we should all look like beth,but i think she is a perfect rollmodel to show people you just have to embrace yourself as who you are!And it's time for a change,no more skinny ass models! :)

Ow and for the people who live in Europe.I will be demonstrating at HobbyFarm the 13th of September.Hope to see some of you there!

Xtreme Home Make Over @ Fauve's...

I decided to give my "walk-in "closet a make over,because it was a mess and i couldn't find anything!Unfortunately my son wrecked my scrap closet.(Don't ask how he did it!)And the two parts were standing in my closet space untill i got a chance to throw it away.I decided to use it untill i find a better way to store my bags and stuff.This is how my closet looks now.Kinda cute for a closet from home (s)crap right? Look at my cute pink underskirt i bought for 25ct!Next to it is my too expensive scarf from DKNY,gotta love the mix! I wanted to show you a little peek in my closet too,lot's of vintage and black clothes.The other closet is a bit of a mess,but oh well who cares.I was counting my coats the other day...There are 24 coats and 14 of them are Black,so crazy!You can see some of my sunglasses,i have a thing for them.I am very happy with my "new" gold Vintage Dior sunglasses,will make a picture with them sometime soon.I also love necklaces,especially Pearls...I won't show you the rest of my collections,or you will all send me to a home for lunatics.

I will show you this awesome Vintage magazine i bought back from 1939!!It's extremely thick and has all these advertisements and articles for Woman in it.It's called the Libelle and probably known to many Dutchies.It's so beautiful i am afraid to cut it up.I love thrift stores and carboot sales,it's the best place to find unique things.A lot of people i know think it's yuk and stupid,but luckily my family enjoy's it too! :)Yes,i also did some scrapping.Here they are!Happy scrapping,i'll be back soon.

Hooray for fabulous B-day's!

So my planning was to update earlier this week,but my mom came to pick me up by suprise!A nice suprise because now i didn't have to go by train.My mom decorated her whole house with guirlands and it looked like B-day heaven :) I already got a lot of my presents like my vacation to Landal Greenparks in Germany and my upcoming holiday in France,but she saved THE BEST presents for last.She already gave me some hints on her blog,but i didn't have a clue!Turned out she made me this amazingly cute apron with my name crocheted on.I LOVE LOVE LOVE it,couldn't be any cuter.Ofcourse i knew that my mom was going to make me a b-day cake.She has been talking about it since Julian's b-day,but she never told me what she was going to make.I only made one request,i wanted strawberries in it!So after a whole day of being banned from the kitchen,they were singing and i could finally see it.It was jaw droppingly beautiful!!Look at it...

After the cake we went to the fair in the city.All of my favorite people were there,and i had such a great time.It was the best b-day in years,and i really really REALLY enjoyed myself!

Saturday is my Birthday,and we are going to the fair in Tilburg.My mom is already busy with my Birthday cake,and she got me really curious.She knows i will love it anyway,but i think she makes the most beautiful stuff so i can't wait to see!

It's summer,and the long summer vacation has started.We spend a lot of time on the playground!The past weeks have been extremely hot in The Netherlands,and wow i was completely dying.I can't handle it AT ALL!So i was hiding inside from the sun,waiting for the sun to go down so i could breath again.Since i couldn't clean and stuff during the day,i was doing everything in the evening.Not very good for your sleep routine...

My "little" Maxim turned 2 last week!We had a great picknick with family and friends.It was fantastic and the little guy enjoyed his self to the limit.Think lot's of yummy food,playing soccer and having lot's of laughs( and wine!).My mom made some pictures with her camera,can't wait to see!

When i saw this picture the day before his b-day i was getting some mixed feelings.Happy that he is becoming such a cute little toddler and sad because he is no longer my "little baby".Funny how b-day's alway's remind you to enjoy life more each and every day!

Remember my mom and me made some Sushi a while ago?Well i made some Sushi myself at home.Very addicting i can tell you!So so yummy,i couldn't get enough of it.So i made some more Sushi yesterday evening!My mom also made me addicted to making these little chocolate peanut mountains.Or whatever you wanna call it LOL My neighbours called it delicious,so maybe we call it chocolate delight :)

Cupcake workshop

So last Tuesday we (Andrea,Marion,my mom and me) went to a Cupcake workshop in Den Bosch.We had a great time!We decorated 6 little cupcakes and 6 big cupcakes.We learned some cool techniques and used a lot of awesome products.Kids in a candy store that's for sure!The blue one is my fave.My mom bought the Wilton print rol(?) and i think it's the coolest thing ever!You can also use it to make little roses,see my mom's blog.

I am planning to make some more cupcakes this weekend,i'm hooked!

No i didn't move to another planet and yes i am still alive.So sorry it took me ages to update you all but i had some major computer problems.It's not completely solved jet but atleast i can update my blog again.So what have i been up to?Well nothing much i have to say,ha!I enjoyed the weather a lot!!People probably think i live in the playground...

Julian is doing really great on school!So happy about that.My youngest is almost turning 2!!On the 1st of July we are celebrating his second year on this planet.Not sure what we are going to do,probably going to the Efteling.

My mom showed me how to make Sushi yesterday,and i am happy to share that it was a succes!
I am going to try it again at home,and i will make some pictures to show you how they turned out.They were gone before i could take pictures,that's a good sign!!We also went to a carboot sale yesterday.These are so much fun!!I bought a big straw bag(1,50),leather jacket(3,00) and a small leather bag(2,00).Score if you ask me!

My mom,her sister in law,my sister in law and me are going to a Cupcake workshop this Tuesday.I am sooo looking forward to it!We are going to "De Taartwinkel" in Den Bosch,which means The Cakeshop.We are going to learn how to decorate cupcakes and i really hope we will learn a lot of cool things.I think my mom is already an expert,but she doesn't agree with me.I think this will be a piece of cake for her,but it's still a lot of fun!She wan'ts to learn about Royal Icing,somebody got a recipe?Thanks in advance!

I was so excited to play with the digital stuff from Sausan Designs that i couldn't wait to get home and create something.My mom let me use her printer to print some amazing "hybrid" embellishments and papers.(Thanks mommy!)

Since i couldn't scrapbook last week because of my wrist,i wasn't able to create a layout for the new inspired by Amelie challenge.I was totally bummed about that,but i was in REAL pain!!

I am happy that it's over now!Turned out...i over used my wrist LOL I gave it some rest the last couple of day's.So now i can scrapbook again!Just have to make sure i don't over use it again! :)

So this layout is for the Amelie blog using only Sausan Designs stuff!(Besides the paint and thickers) :) As you might see i went a little crazy with the stitching.My sewing machine must hate me!What can i say...i just love MESSY!

I made another page using the fairy pictures from my friend Larissa.(and making another one tonight!)I seriously can't get enough of these pictures!Not to mention that she is wearing my favorite color dress.This new Prima stuff is to die for!Seriously i love it all!Especially those pearls,wow!What do you think of my handmade flowers??I think they are kinda cute!! :)Remembered i had a little TOOT to share?Well i am one of the new girls for the challenge blog "The story matters".I realised i need to focus more on my journaling,and i really think this challenge blog will help me to improve that.So i am looking forward to work with these fun girls and enjoy the challenges.

Hope everyone had a fantastic Easter!We had a great weekend with lot's of food and family time.We were also celebrating Jack's(My mom's husband) his b-day,and it was great.My mom made this really cool Mario cake and it was delicious.Hop over to her blog Contagious to see how it looked.Cool huh?

So i don't know exactly what it is that i have...But i have this pain in my wrist that has been killing me!!Going to make an apointment with the doctor tomorrow,because this pain kept me up all night.I was hoping it would go away,but it is getting worse!Maybe some kind of infection??It's my left wrist,so it's not from Ebay browsing all day :)

Made a layout yesterday evening(before the REAL pain started!!)for Angie Delarie.It's called Rock on! and enjoy...inspired by my "Model" layout.I used the handsign chipboard from Angie,her products are awesome!!

I went to the Art Specially event last weekend together with Martine.We had a great time!The event was fun,but we couldn't really find the scrapbook stuff we were looking for.There was more stamp stuff then scrapbooking stuff.And ofcourse we were nagging,because we were looking for particular things...So when we were waiting for the car to drive us back to the station,we saw a friend of my who was going to the new store from Papers&Pictures.She asked us to ride along with her,and ofcourse we said yes!!Thank you so much Irene,you are the best!!!The store was beautiful and had A LOT of products.Including some things we NEEDED,like the New Prima line Mommy&Me.I already bought the beautiful ribbons at ScrapDelight,which made me SO happy.I just love those cute little animals!!!
And ofcourse some Melissa Frances and Prima for my Shabby Chic thing.I am working on a Fairy layout for my friend Larissa,and i love how it's turning out.Will show it soon!!

I also have a new TOOT,which i will share in my next post.Did i tell you that i love Scrapbooking again?I really do,and i am so happy i am enjoying it to the fullest again.

My mom made these new cupcakes that i just LOVE!They look so good.If i could only try them all...Well it's probably better that i don't!! :)A fewday's ago we watched the "new" movie Bolt.My boy's liked it A LOT!Especially Julian.I thought it was okay...I prefer Tinkerbell :)

Seriously,why does everything always have to be extreme in Holland?Talking about the weather here...Seriously it was HOT today!And that after a week of rain rain and more rain.I saw kids playing in swimming pools.Not sure if it was THAT hot,but maybe it was,cause i was really dying outside.I just can't stand it when it's so hot.On the other hand i hate the rain...So yeah i am a complainer...But seriously it's Spring!!It's supposed to be nice and sunny with a light brease...Not hiding inside,away from the sun!LOL

Well enough about the weather.I finished two layouts i started last weekend,yay!

Life can be Enchanted.Well my life has been crap for a long time(still is now and then...),but i like to keep it possitive.I made this "fairytale" layout,to remind me that life CAN be Enchanted.(I need a lot of reminders)Just have to focus more on the little things.I used one of the Angie Delarie Cinderella tags on this.This one is about my brother and his girlfriend.They were here,together in 2008.So if someone finds my scrapbook in 2200 they would know "they" were here in 2008...Makes any sense,no?Hmmm okay moving on.(freakshow...)

Julian and i made homemade cookies.Well i am not a really good baker(like my mom),but they turned out fine.Not better then the store bought ones,but good for a first timer!Atleast we enjoyed ourself yesterday! :)My mom also started a blog.It's called contagious,for her (cup) cake addiction.She is really good!

My crop weekend at Martine turned out quite productive!We often end up chatting the whole evening,but we actually did some scrapbooking this time!It's always fun to see how different our styles are.Which is strange,since we like the same stuff!I will show you three layouts now,and some more later this week.Gotta save some eyecandy!

These pictures are some of my favorites from Julian.I love the vintage look it has,and that cap...i just love it!I used the title Nature Boy,inspired by the song from Nat King Cole.Such a beautiful song!I am still in doubt if i should some of the lyrics as my journaling...Maybe i'll add it later.This is one of my "just do it" pages...I burned my paper,used aluminum foil,teared kraft paper from an envelop etc.(Thanks Martine!)You know...A have fun page!!I simply can't get enough of this color combo too.And a kiddy page for Maxim.These are kinda hard for me,but i like how it turned out.And i used one of those Jolee stickers...WOW,somebody call the newspaper!!I never use Jolee's,they are just so hard to use.I think they are super cute though...And it's a Disney page.I believe you can use anything you like on a Disney page :)I also have two TOOTS to share.One of my layouts is going to get published in an Australian magazine,and two of my layouts in an American magazine.I won't spoil everything jet,but i will share everything with you when the magazines arrive :)

Martine took some pictures from me while i was staying at her place,and they turned out really cool.Atleast i like them...Now i can't wait to see the ones i took from her!! This is my fave!Gotta love the attitude :)Not a real flattering outfit,but oh well :)

So i did two photoswaps,one on SIS and one with my awesome friend Roberta!

This is the layout i made for SIS Amy Gleason.I used the OLW Ready for this one.I pimped up her picture,hope she likey!Such a gorgeous shot...And eventhough i am not good in scrapping action pictures,i had a lot of fun with this one!!

This was my first random photoswap.I only swapped with friends before,so i hope she will like it.This is the layout for Roberta a.k.a. ladybastard.She is totally Kawaii in every single way...Love her,and i hope she likes this!!I def. had fun playing with her awesome picture and all the cute Kawaii stuff :)And last but not least(I hope...hihi),my retro page.Wanted to keep it simple and focus on the picture.I used my sewing machine again,yay!!!So good to have him back...

I took a little break from the unpacking.It was getting so frustrating,i will continue with it tomorrow.Today is scrapbooking day...Same as yesterday :)

Gotta tell you something funny.We were in a real hurry getting ready for school(as usual),and as i was putting on Julian's shoe's i was getting really frustrated because i couldn't get them on.Now it's a fact that All Stars are a disaster to get on,especially kids.So when i gave up and took off the shoe,a little play car fell out.I had to laugh out loud!!Crazy kid...Why didn't he say something?Oh well...something nice for the scrapbooks :)

My blog needed some changes...It was getting way too boring!!So i changed my background(totally luv the lion lady!!)and my banner.I think they match together very well.Maybe one day when i found time to learn photoshop,i can make a professional banner :)

So the last couple of day's i have been unpacking,sorting and moving things in my house.My whole house was filled with boxes and garbage bags.It was so frustrating!!I actually started crying once,because i didn't know where to look for it anymore.There was stuff laying around everywhere!I moved all the boxes to my scrap room,because i needed an empty livingroom.Feels better now!Although i am kinda hiding from my scraproom now...

Luckily i made a layout before all my stuff arrived,so i have something to show you :)

So what i wanted to ask you Scrapbookers...What are your all time favorite Scrapbook brands?

Mine is 100% BamPop,i love all of their stuff!And i can't wait for the new stuff coming out...I also love the amazing ScrapDiary pp,their stuff is so amazing!!!!!But since i am into all the shabby chic stuff now a day's,brands like Melissa Frances and Tim Holtz also catch my eye.

Went for the retro look...Played with Gesso on top,i'm addicted to it.Not the most charming picture(I look like a man!!),but hey...I scrap it all! I am feeling kinda sick...I have this nasty cold,think i got it from my kids.Such a bummer since the weather is soooo nice!

We went to the playground yesterday.It was so much fun,untill...Maxim walked away!I totally freaked out because i couldnt find him anymore.And then a mom brought him to me...Such a relief!Hated him at that moment though.It's my own fault i know...I turned around to check on Julian and the next minute when i turned around,Mr.Maxim was gone.Ofcourse they didnt want to play with the same things.Sooo next time its going to be the little playground again!!

Tomorrow my parents are bringing my stuff over.When i moved here,i didn't bring all my stuff...So now it's coming for me!!My house is going to be exploded,that's for sure.I am one of those people that just can't throw away stuff...Now i HAVE too!!

I made this layout using some of the new pictures from my boy's.I went for a Graffiti/Urban look,with lot's of paint and colors.I also used buttons from KITTYROBOT!!The pink mesh on top is Anti-Slip :)

My friend Marieke made an incredible layout using Julian's picture.She used her own products from Marieke Vermeulen Designs for it,and as you can see...They are very cute!

I played around with some paint and gesso.WOW finally some real scrapbooking!I was done with the "quickies".... :) I like how this one turned out.I really enjoyed using all the clothing tags!!
