Time for a picture update and some sneaks

Sorry i didnt update for a long time but i just had no time.I had some asignments i had to finish and now that they are all done i finally have some time for myself!Things are going great here and Maxim is doing so great.I can tell you a whole story about how much i hate letting Maxim burp(He doesnt burp when he sleeps....),but thats a bit boring :)

Sneaks

The story begins...

So i went to the hospital on Saturday to hear what they were going to do.After they checked everything they decided to get the baby on Sunday.On Saturday evening my water broke and i thought it looked a bit yellow so i called the hospital.They said i had to come over so they could check the water.This was around 1 AM,my mother wasn't so happy about that :D When we came there they said everything was fine and i had to come back 8Am.So when i came there they checked everything but i wasn't having contractions,so i had to wait for a while to look if they would start in a "natural"way.But they didn't!So around 10 Am they gave me something that would start the contractions,but it didn't work all that well in the beginning.Around 12 Am i was still having 4 cm,but after that everything went REALLY fast.Around 12.45 my mother had to call the doctor because i said i had to push and she said that was fine because i was having 10 cm.I only pushed for 4/5 times and there he was!

My mother made these really cool baskets for me and Julian,i think they look wayyyy cute!Julian get's to unwrap a present everyday and he enjoys it big time.He is sooo proud of his little brother which is so precious to see,i will cherish that forever.Ofcourse he was having some trouble in the beginning with the bottles and soothers of his little brother,but it is going great and i love to see that everyday.

I wan't to thank you all for the sweet comments and congratulations,it really felt good reading all of them.Sorry if i havn't respond to your email or anything but i need to recover a bit more.I didn't get any stitches(i was sooo happy about that)but i do have some other small things that need some recovering.So now it's time to enjoy,thanks again girls!

Relax girls...

No baby jet :D I went to the hospital yesterday and the baby was fine.I had to stay for almost an hour so they could check the baby's heartbeat.I have to come back this Saturday,and they will then decide if they are going to get it then or on Sunday...This is really taking forever!Guess this baby is really relaxed LOL I am still feeling great,but i can't sleep that well anymore.Oh well,guess i can't complain about that...

Have to do a lot of asignments this and next week but i also finished a lo for Birgit's sketch.I just had to do something for me.I think these pictures are just too funny!!

Baby update and SAZ/Scrap! layouts

Okay so i went to the doctor yesterday and the baby was doing fine.My bloodpressure was still good,so i don't have to watch what i eat.Lucky me!I have an appointment at the Hospital this Tuesday to check if everything is okay.Then i finally get an appointment to pull this baby out of me LOL But i have a "feeling" it's not gonna last that long...I think the baby will be here on Sunday,what do you think??Or maybe that's just hope? :)

Okay time to show some stuff!Here is the cover of the felt album i started at Celine's workshop.I really wanted to make this album about me,so i thought a style diary would be nice...

Nope no baby jet...

Sorry to keep you girls waiting,but this weather is killing me (again)!!I can't scrap,shop or do anything useful...It's just way too HOT!I think this baby thinks it's just fine inside of me because he is not planning to come out anytime soon.Well ive got news for him LOL I am going to the doctor this afternoon so i hope i get an appointment for the hospital.My feet,hands and ankles are really swollen up,sooo anoying.I feel like a muppet :D

Anyway enough for the complaining!These things are not huge so i can really say i am blessed.The last time my bloodpressure and everything was okay,so i hope it's still okay and i can still eat salt and everything.That would make life so much easier lol

Will update this afternoon with the baby news and some layouts i made for the first paper issue of SAZ.I also finished my cover for the mini felt album i started at Celine's workshop.I really LOVE working on this project!I have never had that with a mini album...

Photo op

That's the title of the page that Amber (Skolnick)made me,and i LOVE it!!I'm a huge fan of the color combo yellow and orange.I guess that's why i used it for Julian's babyroom...Do you see all those little details??Gotta try the framing with paint sometime,i think it looks awesome!

I also did some scrapping myself...It feels so good being creative again,i really missed scrapbooking a lot!Guess it's time for some shopping :)
For the second layout i used 1 of Elsie's sketches,this was FUN!

Yes i did it!

I did some scrapping again!I dragged myself to my desk yesterday and scrapped all evening,it felt sooo good!They are both verry different but i had fun making them both.I guess i will be scrapping these last couple of days before the baby arrives...

Sorry no pictures of the baby room jet,i wanted to scrap instead of take pictures...But hey i give it a week or 2 maybe.My duedate is this Saturday,but the doctor says i am going to be late again.Well we shall see :)

I did take a picture of Julian yesterday so i could show his dad i cut Julian his hair myself. Still i like his hair big and messy but i guess i was the only 1.LOL He looks so big on this picture,he is growing up way to fast for me...

Baby sheets

Okay as promised,here are the pictures of my handmade baby sheets.I also made a purple sheet with some lace,but i forgot it at my mother's house,so i will show that 1 somewhere this week.

I am doing great,although the weather is just terrible!It's so HOT that i can't wait for some rain...Just 1 more week (or 2) and i will deliver another baby boy.I really can't wait for that moment when you see your baby for the first time.It's SO special...My mom said that when i held Julian for the first time i kept saying;He is sooo beautiful LOL

I have done some scrapping for Cj's,and hopefully will do some scrapping for me tonight...

Will make some pictures of my scrap/bed/baby room,so you can see how it looks :D

If you can't scrap...

you SHOP!I always scrap in the evening,because i can't scrap when Julian is awake.But now a days i am sooo tired in the evening that i can't find the energy to start scrapping,and most of the time end up on the couch watching a stupid movie...So instead of scrapping my mother and me went for some nice (crochet)lace shopping.I found this really cool little store that sells ribbon,lace,fabric and buttons.They are only open on every first Saturday of the month and every tuesday for 3 hours.Which makes it a bit mysterious right?LOL

So i had to do something with all of that lace i bought,so my mother teached me how to make a baby sheet.Okay i am totally addicted!It was my first time making something on my sewing machine,and i loved it.Hope to make some more cute stuff on my sewing machine...So if you have some cute projects to start with,please let me know.Please keep in mind that i'm a newbie :)

I had to make this picture of Julian's cute rainboots to make sure i will never forget them.It was LOVE at first sight in the shop.Can't wait to scrap this picture!

Nothing to show...

Sorry but nothing to show jet,i am just to tired to get myself scrapping again.Only 3 more weeks until my duedate!I just can't wait!!I am busy finishing the last couple of things in my room and it looks so cute.I love being in my room and just look around,enjoying my favorite things...

Yesss i LOVE Ebay!Just bought this awesome vintage sundress with robots.Can't wait to wear this dress with some 3/4 legging and a nice pair of sandals.Let the summer begin :D

Okay i need some goodluck...

*EDIT* Thanks everybody for wishing me goodluck!I didn't make it in to the zingBoom DT,but the baby was laying in the right position!!Guess that's more important right? :D

So i had a prenatal visit on Monday and the doctor(verloskundige) told me she was having doubts if the baby is laying with his head up or down.So i have to go to the Hospital this afternoon to check.So please wish me goodluck that the baby his head is down... :D

Also Zingboom is picking their 2 new DT members today and i would totally LOVE to be on their DT!It has been a long time since i submitted for something,so i am not that confident.But i really REALLY hope i get on the DT.So i need some goodlucks for that too...

Made a layout yesterday using Bampop volume 2 papers,and can i just tell you that i am totally in love with these papers.Can't get enough of all those robots,unicorns and sweet little birdies.

















Speaking of fun products,i so need those new Hambly rub-ons!!That's high on my list this month...

Mothersday

Okay a bit late but still i wanted to say:Happy Mothersday!!Julian gave me a beautiful rose and some really nice chocolates.It was so sweet when he came in the room holding the rose...He gave it to me and right after that i got a little hug.Can you tell i love my son A LOT!!I took some pictures of him with the rose and he also gave me a cute hand kiss.Too bad for me he couldn't just stand still,so not the best of pictures LOL

I made my mother a 12x12 canvas that fits her living room.Hope she likes it,she havn't seen it jet...Told you i was a bit late :D It was my first time making a real scrapping on the wall,and i kinda liked it.Still i prefer just 12x12 layouts!Sorry for the dark picture,the weather is really bad here.

Have to do some more scrapping this week,so be sure to visit me again this week :D

I feel a bit crappy!

Really...I am almost 35 weeks pregnant and for the first time this pregnancy i feel like crap!I guess i can't really complain then,but i am feeling so sick i can't even sleep at night.And when i get up in the morning i am so tired,i don't even wan't to start the day.Which isn't possible with a 2 year old...Oh well i guess i have to be a tough woman for these upcoming 5 weeks :S

And yes when i am tired and sick i can't really focus on scrapping,so i totally ruined Amber's layout when i tried to fix it.Will make it again ofcourse,but first i got to find the same yellow cardstock.I did do some scrapping and i finally got the chance to use my Bampop papers,which i absolutely adore! I felt a bit better after making this page,because i was really grumpy after i ruined Ambers layout.I guess it's a strange topic for a lot of people,that's why i thought it was fun.
















I just signed up for the Xtreme weekend,which will be helt on 7 and 8 September at Stampedhouse.I am going on Saturday since it's so hard to find a babysitter on Friday.Looking forward to catch up with my friend Adrienne!!

Photoswap with Amber

Not much to show since there is not much scrapping going on these days...Sorry,i am just too tired!I did a photoswap last week with the lovely Amber Skolnick.She is such a sweet person,i loved using her funky picture.The baby is doing great,only 5,5 weeks to go...My room is almost ready,i am having a little baby pooh theme in there.

Hope to be back soon with some more scrapping stuff to show.

I have a 2 year old!!

This tuesday my little boy turned 2,i can't believe how time flies!!We celebrated his birthday on Mondag because everybody was free of work for queensday.He got loads of presents and ate a lot of cake...and so did i :D After that we went looking at all the second hand stuff people are selling on queenday.(i am totally addicted to that...)Unfortunately it's not such a hype here as in Amsterdam,but still i found some great bargains!!
