Carnaval...so NOT my thing!

Yes,i went to Carnaval with my brother and his girlfriend Andrea.We watched the parade,which was way boring!I mean come on,look at the brazilian carnaval and then look at the Dutch carnaval...Seriously??!!

Afterwards i went to my brothers place to "chill" and eat.It looked great and comfy,fits my brother that's for sure.Around 7Pm we went to the city looking like this!Notice my brother didn't catch much sleep the night before.LOL Andrea went as a girls scout,totally cute!My brother went as Super Mario and i went as a "sexy" (UHUM) Secretary.Totally hate that 2nd picture of me,but oh well...It was sooooo crowded!We didn't really enjoy ourselfs so we were home around 12!!WOW a new record ha!

We watched a movie and went to bed.Guess Carnaval just isn't it for some people?Oh well,maybe next year we give it another try :)

The next day my brother and i went to my mom's for a sleep over.We had a really great evening with lots of laughs and alcohol hihi
Didn't do any scrapbooking but i can show you my layout for the ScrapMojo challenge.Didn't use stitching for a long time...Kinda liked it,so you'll might see that again on my next layouts...

Julian is finally getting potty trained!I tried everything,but nothing worked.He just didn't care LOL It is going really well and i hope he will be done with the diapers very soon!

Autumn

Yes,i'm probably the only one who is making Autumn layouts around this time of year...But,ask me if i care?Love this picture of my boy's.And eventhough they don't really look a like,they are obviously brothers.They are alway's playing and having fun together.I am not really an Autumn fan so these layouts are rare :)

Yesterday i wen't to my mom because i am staying here for a couple of day's.On Saturday i am going to stay at my brother's new "crib".Very curious to see how it looks!We are going to the carnaval,so i am guessing we will make some pictures to show you afterwards.

My favorite quote from the movie 'The sweetest thing'.A really great girly movie with Christina Applegate,Cameron Diaz and Selma Blair.I made this layout to remind myself to just enjoy dating and stuff,and stop looking for that Mr.Right!I used the prince playing card from Heidi Swapp(Thanks Larissa!),and turned him into a "regular guy".The notebook paper is from a magazine called Flow.Seriously can't get enough of that magazine...I used my tiny alphabet stamps again.And eventhough i can't stamp straight,i love using them a lot!

No internet...SUCKS!

It has been FOREVER!I know that...I didn't have internet connection,and i was going CRAZY!But i'm back and can't wait to visit all my bloggin friends again :D

Havn't done a lot lately...Had some dates with a nice boy,so that was fun!I am not a big fan of dating since i alway's feel like it's some "meet inspection".But i might change my mind about this one ;)

Alway's wanted to be on a great Design Team??Well good news for you!ScrapMojo is having a Design Team call,and if i were you...I would totally apply!!I LOVE being part of this team,these girls are amazing.

Did some scrapbooking,but not much...Hope i am not loosing my groove!!Well i have had a lot on my plate,so i guess i am still busy on my comeback.Too bad it's taking longer then i expect.I guess it comes and goes with fases.

Layouts!!

Just a quick update about my layout for Scrapmojo and a layout which was just for fun!The Mojo challenge was about hero's.I totally wanted to use "hot mama" since people are always calling me that :D YAY,for them!!Come and play along,it's such a cool challenge and an awesome priceI was really in the mood for something tough and Urban looking,so i played with some pictures from my brother.Totally love this color combo!You can't see it on this picture,but my smilie turned in evil...

As i mentioned in my last post,i bought a Wreck Journal.And i swear,this was the best purchase in 2009 so far...I love playing in it.Here are two examples:

On the left page it say's; paint left overs...from my finger. Haha gotta love it!
And this one felt sooooooooooooooo good!You have to do this when you are in an annoyed/angry kind of mood...Just scratch it!!

Or you can go and burn a page... :DYes,i have a thing for Alice in Wonderland...I don't really like the movie,i just really like the characters.I bought these customized shoe's,and they are so pretty!A lot of stunning details,and so much to see.Unfortunately the magazine Scrap! is going to quit.Really sad because i loved working for it!This magazine started my scrapbooking journey and i am really thankful for it!

I'm still here!

Can't believe that the day's are flying by so fast!But i did manage to settle some things.Like for example...the kindergarten for Julian.He starts on Tuesday 20 January!Which is really soon,so that makes me happy as can be.He really missed school,and he can't wait to go back.I know that, because he has been asking me everyday since we've been there...

I did some scrapbooking!!I had a rough start,but i think they turned out cute.Have to get back in the groove again.But...no worries,it will come again.(That's what i keep telling myself.)

My boy's in their banana boat.This picture keeps crackin me up!I can only show you one,because the other one is for the upcoming ScrapMojo.Which was so much fun to work on!I really missed playing along with ScrapMojo,but i had to get back on track first.

Which brings me to my Amelie blog.I took a break from it at the end of last year,but i am going to pick it up again.We are starting this year with a new Design team call and a blog make-over.So if you are interested in being part of a great group of Amelie designers,please enter!Keep an eye for the blog,it will be up in the next couple of day's!

I played with my camera again.Seriously can't get enough of my Canon!I still need to finish reading my manual...But then again,there are so many other things!!As you might see,i lost some weight.Feel much better about myself now.Gotta keep this diet up! So i played around in photoshop and i can't decide which one i like better.Opinions please!
And these two are only a bit different,but still i am not sure which one i like best.So i would like some opinions about this picture too!Not really sure why i named this picture "attic",because i don't even have an attic.I guess it just looked like that to me...I also think of Cowboy's when i look at the picture above.Don't ask me why... Hi!,I am

Fauvella.Cinderella's sister...For the past couple of day's i have been cleaning,cleaning and more cleaning.Seriously,life is so much easier when you only clean in the weekends :)

I have to admit that i feel so much better!Finally things are getting back on track.I found Julian a new kindergarten today,and i am going back tomorrow to settle everything.Ofcourse i still need to take care of things,but it will come eventually.

I wanted to make some pictures of Maxim with his Buzz Lightyear toy's.He has this little Buzz Lightyear doll that he holds all day long,Everyday!!So i need to take some pictures from that doll only,but i already like these a lot!As you can see,the doll is already missing a hand.Those are the signs that he is loved...

My kids got this little tent from Hema and i LOVE it so much!Luckily they like it too.Means i didn't buy it just for myself LOL Gotta love these colors too...It is covered in little animals,mushrooms,cakes and more.

Ofcourse the day wouldn't be complete without some kisses.Maxim is totally in to giving kisses,complete with mmm sound :)

So tonight i am hopefully going to do some scrapbooking.I tried yesterday but nothing would come out of my hands.So maybe tonight!

First eyecandy!

The new year has started!I am still at my mom's,but i will be going home today and start the "new life" on Monday.Which includes the words; Diet,structure and bye bye Pj's.(Gonna miss my Pj's!!)I found a helpful site that put's up schedule's for dinner and house cleaning.Unfortunately it's only in Dutch,sorry!But for the Dutchie's that are interested,HERE is the link.

It's really cold outside!But it's not cloudy or anything so i feel like doing some graffiti shot's by the cool walls i found in Lelystad :D Who knows...Maybe tomorrow!My plan is to finish reading my camera manual,since i Love photography but there is so much more that i can do with it.

New Year-New Goals

2008 has not been a very good year for me.I am not really a person who set goals for the new year,but i think it's time to change that!My goal for 2009 is to create structure in my life.I never was the kind of person who had structure,but i really need it now.Hopefully i feel better when my life is more organized.Not really sure where to get started,but i am busy making a list with things i need to do in the next couple of weeks.Maybe somebody knows a book about structure in your life??Any help is welcome...I am alway's wondering what people are doing everyday,since it feels like my day's just fly by.Which bring me to the second goal for 2009.Being less lazy!!No more PJ day's untill noon...Get up and do SOMETHING!But i guess that will change anyway when i create structure.The fact that i need to do everything by myself got me really depressed.I always expected other people to help me and make me happy.But i know the time has come that i need to do things by myself.Doesn't make me happy now,but i hope it will at the end.Hopefully it makes me stronger and more mature...

Since i am going to stay in Lelystad for a while i need to do a make-over in my house.It has to become more Fauve,so i feel more at home.I don't have the money to do everything at once,so i am doing one room at the time.Not sure what style to choose for my bedroom...I loveeeeee bright colors,but i am also using those in my scraproom.Yes,i am blessed to have a spare room!Somewhere in my house i want to paint the walls a mint green-teal color.That color just makes me happy!Maybe in combination with pink :) I also love the brocante Shabby Chic style,but not sure where to use it.I have this beautiful brocante chair,mirror and comb set.Which doesn't go with anythinggggggg in my home haha Oh well,going to brain about that one...Again,any tips and decoration tips are more then welcome!

Okay,over to Christmas!We started off with the presents on Christmas morning.And as you can see from the pictures...Way too many presents,like really REALLY crazy!!My kids got rotten spoiled,with so many toy's i don't even know how to take them home with me.They got this big yellow hummer,which is fantastic!Julian was way excited about the huge car,and became a real pro after some practice.Ofcourse he got a big pirate ship,since he has been asking for it for over 6 months...Julian got one and maxim got one,both different.Ofcourse they wanted to play with the ship that wasn't theirs.I couldn't care less :)
I was trying to make some good Christmas pictures but sjeez...It was almost impossible with my two kids.They didn't want to work with me and were very annoyed LOL So they were constantly turning their heads,and Maxim was NOT going to take his soother out.Oh well,maybe next year :D


I missed taking pictures!And i am planning to do some more shoots soon.I am thinking about taking my kids to the graffiti park.I just LOVE those Urban shoots.

Talking about pictures...I really like this picture from my brother and his girlfriend.Well i guess that's about it!Hope you all have a fabulous year coming up,may all your dreams come true!I have big scrapbooking plans for 2009,so thanks for everyone who kept me going and didn't give up on me!You are the best <3

And a Happy New year.(If i didn't update my blog before that...)These really really cool dishes got me in the mood for Christmas.It makes me Happy just looking at it...I bought them at the AH supermarket,but unfortunately a lot of the stuff was already sold out.That's what you get when youre late with buying your presents....But luckily my mom already has most of the stuff for her place.This way i can steel it when she's not looking :D

They also had these cute Matroesjka(Is that the right name?) doll candles.Not really Christmas if you ask me but i like them anyway.I am staying at my mom's for a while,so no Scrapbooking unfortunately.

But i did got a chance to shoot some fun pictures together with Julian :) Next time when Maxim is awake,we are going to make some Family pics from the three of us!

Somebody call the news!

I did some scrappage!!Seriously,one layout in like what?3 weeks??Thats just sad!!Hope i can pick it up some more when i recieve my pictures.

This layout is about my Love for weird,vintage,colorful(and so on...)clothes.I loved tearing pages out of my magazines.Normally i alway's save them,but this was for a good cause :)

Scrap! magazine

Sorry,it took me so long to update!My intentions were good.but somehow i failed again... :D
Didn't do any scrapbooking,so i didn't have a lot to share either.But then Scrap! magazine came out and i can show you my layouts.I got to play with a lot of Cosmo Cricket stuff.And these primary colors just totally fit me.First i thought it were the really bright pink and applegreen colors that suits me best.But these colors were just so much easier to work with...Maybe it is because i have two boy's???

So this is my new favorite layout :D Like i said,i really like the colors.But i also like the picture together with this title.For me it just all comes together.(And i don't think that way about my layouts very often...)

I also made some layout's for the Cosmo Cricket Mr.Campy line.That stuff was fun!!Some of the colors were a bit too soft and retro for me,but it opened a new world for me...

Simply adore this picture...And that background paper was my favorite from the Mr.Campy line.

Seeying this picture,instantly made me think of Joey from Friends.(Joey doesn't share food...)Had to use it for a title...

So at the moment i am visiting my mom in Tilburg.I had a date last Tuesday,which was a lot of fun!Still this whole dating thing is nothing for me...I was so nervous,i thought i was going to faint.The guy score some huge points by saying WOW when he saw me... ;)

Yesterday i wen't to see Madagascar 2 with my brother and Jeff and it was sooo Funny!!Seriously,i LOVEEEEE Moto Moto...If you havn't see it jet,you should go and see it!
