No scrapping today...

This message is about sewing :) I have a sewingmachine...I have fabrics...Still i can't make anything besides baby sheets LOL I know i am a beginner but i would really like to make something cute on my sewing machine. So does any of you girls know something really simple to begin with??Or have a step by step tutorial?Any ideas are welcome!!

I recently bought these really adorable fabrics.I see a new addiction coming up...Don't you just love the pink cotton candy fabric??I have been wanting that fabric for sooo long!Thank god we have Ebay :D I know they are wayyy to childish and kitsch but what can i say? That's just my thing...
Hope to show some layouts soon!Happy scrapping

Hi Fauve, try a magazine with simple patterns. This will help you a lot because did some when the boys were little. Knippie is one mag but there are others too. Hope you get something done and show it please when you have.

Love your fabrics. An if you're looking for some nice and easy projects try this book: Bend the rules sewing by Amy Karol. There are some really easy and fun projects in there. You can buy it at bol.com. You should surf amazon.com to see some of the contents!

Yes, the projects are really easy, but they look amazing. It's all just pretty straight sewing, but the results are so cool. I'm a beginner too, but this book is just amazing.

I'd like to join the SIStv crop, but I couldn't find it on the site. Or do your mean the challenges?

Stofjes zijn super Fauve, helemaal leuk!
Maar verder.....euh....gebruik de naaimachien alleen nog maar om wat rechte stik- of zigzagsteken op een lo of kaart te zetten. That's it ;-)

I couldn't help noticing the talk about the SIStv get together... I got pm'd by several Dutch SISters about it too... too bad I can't make it!
