Andy Skinner challenge

I love the style of Andy Skinner, the grunge industrial look is totally my thing. You wouldn't say so when you look at the baby pages in my last post but it is true.

Andy is hosting a challenge in a bright and colorful theme and here is my entry.

Here are some detail shots.

I was going for a Mermaid abstract look...

Here are the materials used.

Baby Workshop

I recently teached a Project Life baby workshop at Scrobby, and i just wanted to say Thank you to everyone who attended. Everyone did an amazing job and left with beautiful projects for their baby albums. I hope i have inspired you to finish your baby albums, as it is my goal as well to finish the baby albums this year.

Here is the spread we made.

I am so in love with this Little You collection from Crate Paper.

I have been enjoying some Mixed Media lately, creating many layers before adding colors. I am hoping to create something colorful for our livingroom or maybe my studio.

I am happy to announce that my work can be seen in Docrafts magazine from now on.

You can find their wonderful products here.

I have been working on a Scrapbook 12x12 workshop that i will be teaching at Scrobby mid April. It will feature different fun techniques to apply on your layouts. Think Ombre, cut-outs and more!
Hope to see you there! :)

Project Life

I love the concept of Project Life. Creating easy and quick pages to get scrapbooking done quickly. That is unless your name is Fauve van Maanen. As natural as scrapbooking comes to me, i am way overthinking Project Life. I am a bit crazy when it comes to color co├Ârdination and everything needs to be balanced. And since you are adding several pictures to a layout, this can be quite the challenge! Since most pictures have different colors in them. But overall i really like the completed look of Project Life pages, all the little details. Hope you like them, thanks for looking.

Project Life Simple Stories Say Cheese

I have always been a Disney lover, that place is just so magical. I have been there many times with my family and we always had so much fun. I am happy to have collected these photos over the years and look back at them with such joy! Some of my best memories are from our trips to Disney and my kids meeting their heroes.

The Say Cheese I and II collection from Simple Stories are perfect for Disney projects. The colors, stickers and designs are totally inspired by the Mickey Mouse colors but are not too bright, just perfect.

I made these projects for Scrobby and i am happy they can be seen in their new shop in Spijkenisse. :)

Baby boy

I have been working on Maxim's baby album. Only took me about 8 years to get this started ha! I really wanted to use pastel colors with the newborn photos. Love it!

I used a combination of different brands like Doodlebug,Simple Stories and Papersalon. Why is it so hard now a days to find pastel baby products? Especially for boys! I was happy to have found these and for the new Crate Paper little you line, it is so cute!

I am combining Project Life and 12x12 layouts in the album. Love this combination. Some pictures just need some special attention ;)
Thanks for looking!

Marianne Design Project NL Zon Zee Strand

100% nagenieten van de zomervakantie met Project NL van Marianne Design B.V..

Gebruikte Produkten:
10437  NL CardsetZon, zee, strand
10439 NL Chipboard Zon, zee, strand
10440 Adhesive stickers Zon, Zee, Strand
10320 NL Notities
361031 Stazon Jet Black

Workshop Project Life Disney Magic @ Scrobby

My first workshop @ Scrobby was so much fun. Three hours full of Disney Magic using the Simple Stories Say Cheese II line. This was my first Project Life workshop and i really enjoyed it. The new workshop space looked amazing, such a beautiful home. Look at all of my students creating, makes me happy!
My new workshop is now online, you can find the details here. This time it's gonna be a Memory Planner workshop. Seriously addicted on working in my Heidi Swapp and Webster's Pages planner.
Thank you for visiting my blog, have a great weekend!

Project Life

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing well! Just a quick update here.
Today i want to show a new Project Life spread i made with Kelly Purkey's Hero Arts Stamps and Basic Grey Second City papers. I just love these fresh Basic Grey colors, they are very easy to work with. Never thought i would say that when using so many bright colors but it is true! I bought the digital Second City papers on Jessica Sprague and printed them at home. So i'll guess this is called a Hybrid Project Life spread :)
I will be teaching my workshop Disney Magic @ Scrobby this weekend, and it is sold out, yay! Very excited about this, i cannot wait! For those that are joining me this weekend, i am looking forward to meet you :) Lot's of other exciting things happening at the moment. Looking forward to share my journey with you! Love Fauve
