So what's new??Well i've got 2 new layout's to show!They are both completely different...I 'm enjoying the more simple and clean style now a day's.And besides the simple and clean style i also like to use different photo size's.My 13x18 pictures are still my favorite though!!

Here is what i made with the blurriest picture ever!I couldn't love this picture more.It's so unperfect,that it's perfect...

I know this is not my style,but i really enjoy doing these kind of layout's for a change!I also made a more personal layout.It's about my journey during these last years and all the the things that happened. You'll probably see more layout's with this topic in the next few weeks.I am thinking a lot about my life and what i wan't with it.So to process it,i have to put it on paper.

You would almost think i like the combination of mustard and turquoise... :D

Julian did some crafting too!I love it when he likes to sit with me and play with paint and left overs from mommy LOL What do you think?Looks kinda good right?These pictures are from Julian and his first love,Cruella deVil.
Yesterday evening we had a beautiful sky!My mom called it a train cloud...Had to capture it!Okay it's time for asignments again,so no idea when i have stuff to show.I am guessing tomorrow since i like last minute deadlines :D Happy Scrapping!

I am going to meet up with my best friend Marianne tomorrow!Havn't seen her for such a long time.I bet she looks really good!(She always does,grrrrrrr)Unlike the girl who should def. start her diet again...Oh well,soon!

I had a really hard/sad day yesterday.My mom's cat wasn't feeling well for the 2 day's.The next day she was doing better,so we didn't think she had to go to the doctor.The day after that she was looking worse then ever before!So we took her to the doctor that night and they said they felt something in her belly but they didn't know it was poo or something else.So we had to come back in the morning for blood tests.She couldn't eat because of the blood tests,so we locked the cat's in their room.The next morning when i wanted to get something in the room,i found her dead.I was in shock and still am.Turned out that she was having cancer.I was very attached to her and i will miss her so much.She was my baby sister,and it feels so weird just moving on...Sometimes it suddenly hits me and i start crying again.It was hard for me to find her like that,and it will stick for a long long time.So yesterday,was a sad day!

I hope to be back soon with some scrappage or pictures!Happy Scrapping <3

YAY for two posts on one day!

Okay so i created two layouts i wanted to share.I could wait for 2 or 3 day's,because i don't know when i have more stuff to show...But oh well.I guess you have to do it with these for the upcoming 5 days or so,ha!

This cocky layout is made for the new OLW and Category Stories challenges.Why not 2 in 1 right?Have to keep it fun!It feels good to do some challenges again.I still feel my creative thoughts are a bit lost.I have a feeling i can do better then this...Kinda bummed about that.I am sorta having one of those"my work sucks" moments/feelings.Well can't blame me.I see all these amazing,complicated layouts passing by.Then i look at my stuff and i think...Sjeezzzzzz anyone can come up with this!!Okay,blah blah blah enough for now!

The picture is made by Corinne and i love it.Love what she did with it too,the background is amazing.It is one of my favorite pictures and i am sure i will use it again some day.

This one was just for fun!I wanted to tear some paper apart and create some kind of fire/spike background.This way it would match with the subject.Not sure if i succeeded,since it still looks kinda neat...bummer!

Love that picture of Mandy and me.She is so much fun!

The weather is beautiful over here,and the kids and me went out to play at the little playground.Maxim had no socks on,and he absolutely hated the feeling of his feet in the grass.It was so funny to see,because he was constantly holding his feet in the air :D

Made these pictures today.It is getting harder and harder to shoot pictures from my kids.They are both so fast and full of energy.I love my son's!

Okay,time to share some stuff!First i wan't to show you 3 layouts i made with the new Dozens kit.

This layout is for my friend Cindy.She is fantastic and i love so many things about her.She has a really warm personality that is so inspiring.She is one of those person's that just inspires me to be a better person.From now on i will call her "my Amelie" :D This layouts is about Antoinette and Natasja.They were having a fabulous time at the Scrap-a-licious weekend and i am glad i took this picture.I think it reflects a bit from the weekend and how much fun we are having.I seriously love these kind of events!
This one is about the fun moments my best friend Marianne and i are having when she comes to visit me.We have some sort of routine,and that routine is not good for your diet LOL I miss these moments a lot,but i am sure we can catch up when she comes to visit me in a couple of day's!

I wanted to stitch the journaling spot,but i had no sewing machine around.Will do it later...i think. I stole this picture from Corinne's blog...She made this layout about me for the CMF magazine.Isn't it pretty?I did a photoswap with my friend Dana.She made me this layout and i love it!She is the master of little embellishments and i think her work is amazing.It kinda reminds me of the layout Amber made for me some time ago.This style is really attractive to me.Gotta try it sometimes...Just for fun!Many thanks to Chantal who gave me this award!Unfortunately i won't be playing along.I have to many scrap friends that deserve this awars,and i can't just pick a few of them.Sorry!(It made me really happy though...)Don't forget to check out the Amelie blog today!Larissa did a post about the locations from the Amelie movie,and it is really amazing to see.Who doesn't love Paris??

Did anyone see my mojo??

Because for the last 2/3 weeks my mojo totally left me.I think it has flew of to another country together with the bad weather.It's crazyyyyyyy HOT in The Netherlands,and i can't handle this weather at all!I have been wanting to scrap,but nothing really came out of my hands.

I made this layout about Disney,but i am not sure if i like it...Doesn't really mather because it was the picture and journaling that mattered.I like to go all dressed up in Disney style when i am going to Disney...Because in Disney,everyone can be a kid again...

Journaling say's:

All dressed up in a Minnie Mouse shirt and my new Minnie Mouse bow,Disney here i come!

Then my rescue team send me a package and my mojo was slowly coming back to me...Thank you Dozens!!So i created this layout using the photo stickers Julian and i took at the fair.We had a great time at Europe's biggest fair here in Tilburg,The Netherlands.I wen't in a lot of "sick making" attractions...

So if you wonder why i don't have the new thickers jet??Well there is you're answer :D I made this layout using The Dozens June kit too!It's for my dear friend Larissa.Hope she likes it...By the time i was creating this layout,my mojo was finally coming back to me!Just need a little bit of creativity and i'm the old me again.Wish me luck!

My Bday trip was AWESOME!

Didn't see too much from Paris,but that's okay.It just means i have to go back,soon!What a beautiful city,i really LOVE Paris!So ofcourse it started with some trouble...It wouldn't be the same without it,ha!When we arrives at our hotel,they told us they didnt recieve our reservation and we had to wait and wait untill we got a new room.I was meeting Larissa around 11.30AM but because of the hotel trouble's i was running late.She gave me her number so i could call her,but somehow the number or my phone was not working in France...I was getting all freaked out since i was too late and i couldn't reach her.I was just gonna call the Amelie cafe when she called me.I was so happy when she told me she would wait for me!The trip to the cafe from my hotel took forever and i felt really bad by the time i arrived.There she was,my sweet friend Larissa and her husband Flavio.Talking about gorgeous,sweet and honest people,wow!I loved them and i am so hoping we will meet again.Maybe next time in Paris??Or maybe i should go to Brazil??

Afterwards i was suprised that i didn't take so many pictures,but luckily Larissa did :D I was far too busy talking their ears off to take pictures...We went to all kinds of Amelie places,and it just felt so magical!Can't wait to scrap these new pictures.At the end of this super fun day,we had a Bday dinner at the Cowboy cook out in Disney Village.It was soooo yummo!The other 2 day's we spent our time at the most magical place on earth...Disneyland :) Can't get enough of it!Which is good since we have a passport.When we go with the kids,we spent most of the times waiting in lines for the little kids attractions and the parade.So this time we decided to do all the things we couldn't do before.I just loveeeeeed the Tower of Terror and Crush Coaster.We also went in this Rock rollercoaster,but that was wayyyy too much for me.I thought my head was going to explode!After all,i am already 22... ;)

So it was a really good weekend and i got really spoiled with a lot of presents.My parents gave me a HP scanjet.So finally i can scan everything i wanted to scan for the past 3 years or so.I got a lot of bags,shoe's and clothe's from Clarence.Yes,i picked them out myself!I got more shoe's from my parent's (shoe addict??Ces't moi??)and some really cute scrapbooking supplies and beautiful bag from Larissa all the way from brazil.And as top of the cake...My brother fixed me 2 really cool movies called S*x and the City and K*ngfu Panda.Which i can't stop watching...

So that's it for the Bday weekend,let's move on to the scrapbooking stuff!The new ScrapMojo challenge is up and it is a fab one as always.Come over and play!

Friday is my Bday!

And it's going to be a really special day!I am going to Paris for my Bday and meet my Brazilian friend Larissa!We are meeting at the Amelie cafe,and we are going to have a great time :) Can't wait to take a million pictures.

...to say Hi.It has been way too long since i updated.Big apology's here...Since i have seen the Sex and the City movie i have been kinda addicted to watching all the seasons again.I am only at season 4,so i have more to watch...But i hope to be a better blogger this week!Sorry,i can't help it.I remember again why this is my favorite show.

I wanted to show a few layouts i made a while ago for the English SCRAPBOOK magazine.The article was about tissue paper.Which is one of my favorite non scrapbooking products!

Okay so the EK soccer totally took all my free time these last two weeks."Unfortunately" that won't be happening anymore,because we are out of the game!Can't wait to see who win though...

So now you know why it took so long to update.I was totally beat after every game of supporting LOL

Only a few more day's before Maxim turns the big 1!! on the 1st of July.And i think it's so hard what to get him as a present.Any idea's are welcome...My mom is getting him a walking car(??You call it like that??)I better start practicing on those cupcakes!

New stuff to show!

Okay so i went jiggy(Isn't that a fun word??) with my Dozens kit and created a new layout for the SIStv challenges last weekend.Ofcourse i didn't finish it on time,but hey i finished it...Not much going on besides the fact that i am totally obsessed by the Sex and the City movie!I keep looking for clutch bags,eventhough i havn't got something to wear with it...And let's not start on the heels.I love them all,but when do i wear heels?

I also made a layout for fun.It's about my brother,alway's being there for me when i really need him.

My B-day is in July (the 18th for the ones who like to know :D) and i bought myself the coolest vintage dress.At least,that's what i think.On the picture they pinned the dress together on the back to make it look fitted.Because we all know i do NOT have the body from that dummy...We've got to keep it real right? :)

I laughed,cried and learned!

My mom and i went to see the new Sex and the City movie yesterday,and from now on it's my favorite movie ever!At least that's how it feels right now...I loved every single minute from that movie.It was touching, honest and beautiful.I can't wait to get it on dvd and watch it like a 100 times!

Yay,i am creative today!

Well actually yesterday,but i just love the rhyme :) Ive been scrapping my but off,just for fun!It felt so good scrapping again after a week of vacation,not being able to scrapbook.Talking about a serious addiction!Anyway,i know i prommised you an update from my vacation,but i didn't wan't this creative boost to pass me by...So i will be back soon with that update i prommised you.Or you can check out the Amelie blog for some pictures i took at the Amelie cafe and Sacre Coeur.

Okay so let's move on to the sharing part!I made this layout for the Lisa Finn Scrapjack.Too bad they ended the challenge earlier,because now i couldn't make the deadline...Oh well,maybe next time!I had fun anyway :)
I made this ONE for the OLW challenge!Totally not my style but i wanted to try something different again...Not sure if i like it though.I always have the feeling it is TOO empty!!
There is a new challenge up at SIStv by Fashionista Jody.She inspired me so much with this challenge,that i made two layouts in one night.Which is rare for me,since i am the slowest scrapper ever! LOL I played with The Dozens kit,which was so yummy again and totally got my Mojo flowing!

Trend Spotting

It seems like the trends in the gallery are ever-changing. However, as I was browsing the gallery one trend stood out to me... the technique of distressing paper (almost in a mess-like fashion) whether it is using an actual distressor or crumpling or folding it randomly and stapling or sewing down the edges...the more mess the better!

This one by fauvevanmaanen shows that by bending the corner, you can add more elements to the back to add texture. She also made a crumpled messy flower.

How cool is this?My Amelie layout!!It was in the newsletter from Scrap in Style tv.It was so much fun to be in the article together with my friend Cristina.
